What is this 'relax' I keep hearing of?

In general the speed of the Aussie life here is a lot slower and more relaxed than compared to the speed of life back in the states. People mostly take their time doing things. Well, I reckon that now I am here in "Rome", I better do as the "Romans".

The home sickness sets in...

I am feeling a little home sick for San Francisco and break isn't coming fast enough.

Sorry I've been away for a few weeks...

I just haven't had that much to say in the last few weeks. Then this weekend I got really sick with the flu. I was high fever, shivering sick! Yup, no fun. I hope I never have to repeat that.

Some observations, doctors really don't know much more than you do when it comes to your body. They're just allowed by law to give you stronger meds. Tylenol in Australia is called Panadol. Even the active ingredient is called something else. In Tylenol it's called acetaminophen, in Panadol it's called paracetamol. OK, but ibuprofen (or better known as Advil) is just ibuprofen here as well. Go figure.

My car got sold this weekend. I am sad, and I'll miss it, but it went to a lovely couple (so I was informed) who lives in Noe Valley (neighbourhood in San Francisco) and will most likely have kids and in need of a wagon.
